Lawrence G. Slason

Principal Attorney

A substantial portion of Mr. Slason’s law practice is devoted to commercial real estate development, environmental permitting, environmental appeals, condominium law and commercial transactional matters.

Attorney Slason has more than four decades of trial experience in Vermont and New Hampshire and obtained a number of notable verdicts for his clients. Mr. Slason provides representation in personal injury and civil litigation for selected matters.

Mr. Slason has represented numerous clients in proceedings before municipal zoning boards, District Environmental Commissions, Environmental Court and Vermont Supreme Court. Mr. Slason has been lead counsel for several major projects in Vermont, including the development of Okemo Mountain as a year-round destination resort, the redevelopment of Rutland City’s downtown plaza, Burr & Burton Academy’s mountain campus in Peru, Vermont, gravel pits and stone quarries, and most recently representation of South Face Village at Okemo in connection with the development and permitting of a 208 unit recreational residential planned community in Ludlow, Vermont.

Mr. Slason is a member of the Vermont, New Hampshire, and American Bar Associations; and the Vermont Association for Justice.

 
 
 

LeeAnn Sargent

LeeAnn Sargent has been a paralegal at Salmon & Nostrand since 2002. Ms. Sargent is a skilled title abstractor and has over 20 years of experience facilitating residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Ms. Sargent received her Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Woodbury College in 1996.

 

 Mary Jo clark

Mary Jo Clark has been a legal assistant at Salmon & Nostrand since 1995.  She provides intake for basic estate planning and elder care needs and has substantial experience in the areas of estate administration, real estate, and probate matters.
